We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic AVP – Programmatic Media to lead our programmatic media buying initiatives across premium DSPs and other key platforms. This leadership role is critical in driving scalable, ROI-driven performance marketing while managing and mentoring a high-performing team of media buyers, analysts and campaign managers. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead programmatic media strategy and execution across multiple DSPs/SSPs including DV360, The Trade Desk, Xandr, and others. 
  • Own and manage large-scale media budgets (multi-million dollar monthly spends), ensuring ROI-driven optimizations. 
  • Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing media team, including media buyers, analysts, and campaign managers. 
  • Develop and implement best-in-class media buying processes, workflows, and automation tools for increased efficiency. 
  • Collaborate with internal teams (creative, analytics, product, and business units) to align paid media strategies with growth objectives. 
  • Leverage advanced audience segmentation, targeting techniques, and bidding strategies to maximize campaign performance. 
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and technology advancement. 
  • Negotiate with platforms, data providers, and exchanges to secure the best rates and premium inventory. 
  • Build robust reporting frameworks and dashboards to track campaign performance, media efficiency, and key business metrics. 

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in digital media buying, with at least 5+ years specializing in programmatic advertising. Agency, ad network, or performance marketing background is a plus. 
  • Proven track record in managing high-budget media spends across diverse industries. 
  • Expertise in major DSPs (DV360, The Trade Desk, Xandr, Yahoo DSP, etc.). 
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven mindset, with experience in audience targeting, attribution, and performance measurement. 
  • Strong negotiation skills to drive partnerships and cost efficiencies. 
  • Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
