Job Overview:

LPL’s Business Solutions (https://www.lplbusinesssolutions.com/) is seeking a passionate and driven AVP of Admin Solutions Delivery, with a primary focus on the Institution channel. The AVP will be responsible for leading a team of delivery managers and admins tasked with supporting and providing exceptional service to LPL institutions, advisors and their clients. As a front-line leader, you will provide operational oversight, daily support, guidance, and coaching, while managing relationships with advisors and institutions. Knowledge of LPL, leadership qualities, adaptability, and comfort with change and ambiguity will be key success factors for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive a best in industry client satisfaction environment by building and fostering meaningful relationships with designated program managers and advisors

  • Identify and lead proactive outreach initiatives to enhance the Institution / Advisor experience

  • Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset by identifying opportunities within team to improve the Advisor relationship and experience; this includes managing team follow-up and expectations

  • Enable advisor practices to thrive by leading them through the adoption and consistent use of LPL technology and automated services

  • Handle Advisor escalations requests to resolution and using all available appropriate resources

  • Partner with internal key stakeholders with a goal of creating alignment, increase subscription growth and maximize retention

  • Advocate and implement strategic plans as set by executive management in accordance with the business needs

  • Identify areas of risk and apply timely mitigation plan and strategies

  • Understand key operational initiatives, their impact on business volumes and develop continuity and contingency strategy

People Management:

  • Cultivate an engaging culture and enable a positive workforce

  • Provide coaching on an on-going basis, which provides guidance and embodies the Service Excellence standard for our admins

  • Develop a cohesive approach to service by setting consistent standards across teams and holding employees accountable to those standards; this includes leading and participating in calibration sessions, best practices reviews, and resource sharing

Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience management role with a strong emphasis in service disciplines

  • Bachelor’s degree

Preferences:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance; Master’s degree a plus

  • Series 99 required (or willing to obtain within 90 days); ability and willingness to obtain Series 7 and other regulatory licensing preferred

  • Financial Services experience ideal, but not required

  • Strong people management and leadership experience

  • Servant leader mindset

  • Strong executor to ensure team goals are met

  • Highly collaborative with experience in leading and influencing teams and individuals across lines of business, functional areas, and different levels of an organization

  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives at once in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

  • Able to provide clear and consistent communication to various business levels throughout the organization

  • Exceptional organizational skills

  • Grace under pressure, comfort with ambiguity, and a sense of humor

  • Strong teamwork, leadership, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to translate complex, ambiguous problems into executable solutions

  • Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work independently are required to identify problems and implement solutions in a team environment

  • Must be flexible to work varying schedules and hours as needed


 

Pay Range:

$106,400.00 - $177,400.00


 

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
