Job Description

As a Senior Tester (Automation) at Endava, you will be in charge of building, developing, and implementing automated tests to assure the quality of our software applications. You will take part in specific projects and work directly with our global stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web and desktop applications.
• Utilize automation tools like Selenium or similar frameworks for efficient testing.
• Write and debug scripts to automate repetitive tasks and test scenarios.
• Work with Visual Studio IDE to develop and test applications.
• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Bamboo.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure high-quality software releases.
• Utilize JIRA or similar test management tools for tracking test cases and defects.
• Implement and maintain Groovy scripts for Jenkins pipeline automation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in test automation.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools like Selenium.
• Experience in automating both web and desktop applications.
• Strong debugging and scripting skills for automation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools for test integration.
• Experience with JIRA or similar test management platforms.
• Knowledge of Groovy scripting for Jenkins automation is a plus.
• Knowledge of automated testing methods & frameworks
• Proficiency in understanding software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies (e.g., black-box testing, white-box testing, regression testing).
• Proficiency in executing automated and manual test cases and accurately documenting test results.
• Familiarity with bug tracking systems and experience in defect identification, reporting, and tracking.

• Desirable: ISTQB Certification or other relevant certifications.
