Job requirements
- Role: QE Engineer.
- Location: Tampa, FL (Onsite)
- Job Description:
- · Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- · Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing.
- · Identify, document, and track defects using [specify tools, e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla].
- · Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and provide feedback.
- · Automate testing processes where applicable.
- · Perform exploratory testing and usability testing.
- · Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
- · Provide regular reports on testing progress and results.
- · Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging testing tools.
- Qualifications:
- · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- · Proven experience as a software tester or in a similar role.
- · Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- · Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) and test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG) is a plus.
- · Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- · Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- · Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
