About the Role

We are seeking a talented and driven Automation Lead (Playwright/Azure) to join our dynamic engineering team. As an Automation Lead, you will be responsible for leading software development projects, designing and implementing automated performance testing strategies, and driving the overall technical direction of our testing processes. You will collaborate closely with a team of developers and quality engineers to ensure high-quality software delivery, scalability, and system reliability. 

What You Will Bring to the Role

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience/certifications.
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in software development, with expertise in leading projects and mentoring teams.
  • Passion for delivering sustainable, high-quality solutions and ensuring systems are built to last.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to take ownership while collaborating in a remote team environment.
  • A driven, collaborative, and enthusiastic personality who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
  • Effective presentation skills to communicate complex technical concepts to individuals and groups.
  • Mentoring and training skills to guide the technical growth of software developers, helping them achieve their full potential.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Lead software development projects, assessing and communicating project progress and roadblocks.
  • Design and implement automated performance testing strategies to measure system reliability, scalability, and performance.
  • Engineer technical solutions that uphold the highest standards of software quality, with a focus on maintainability and performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and strategies, bringing innovation to the testing process.
  • Mentor peers on the how, what, and why of technical solutions, fostering growth and best practices.
  • Actively participate in code reviews and estimation activities to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Create and update software artifacts, ensuring clear documentation and high-quality code.
