Responsibilities / Tasks

We are currently looking for an Automation Engineer to perform the following tasks:
- Coordinate activities (e.g., concept design, hardware design, detail design, software programming, FAT, SAT, commissioning, and optimization) with other engineers, technicians, and project stakeholders to meet project objectives.
- Programming capability with PLC systems (Siemens; Simatic Manager, TIA Portal, Rockwell, and B&R) to control machinery and processes.
- Creating and designing control systems with Scada and HMI systems (Siemens; WinCC Flexible, WinCC, Wonderware) that automate processes in manufacturing, industrial, or other settings.
- Have knowledge of communication systems (e.g., Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet, Modbus, etc.)
- Have knowledge of motor control devices (e.g., driver, soft starter)
- Experienced in the selection of measurement systems (flow rate, level, pressure, temperature, weight, etc.) and sensors.
- Experienced in MCC, PLC boards and design & modification if necessary.
- Must be able to read and understand P&ID, FDS (Functional design scenarios) and Electrical diagrams.
- Preferably uses EPLAN, AUTOCAD, MS Project, SQL database.
- Integrate electrical and automation systems to work seamlessly, ensuring efficient communication between components.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines, such as mechanical and software engineering, to achieve integrated solutions.
- Develop and execute testing procedures to ensure the functionality and reliability of electrical and automation systems.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to electrical components, control systems, and automation processes.
- Contribute to project planning, including estimating resource requirements and timelines.
Your Profile / Qualifications
- Engineering degree or equivalent, in electrical and electronics engineering or associate degree as technician in electrical-electronics, automation or related Process Technology field.
- 1 - 3 years experience in automation projects in dairy, food & beverage, chemical or similar process industries.
- Ability to work across functions for project and service execution department.
- Continuous improvement and excellence in troubleshooting.
- Familiar with global automation standards and ability to work with technology centers.
- Great team player possessing a conflict resolution mind and good communication skills.
- Self-motivated, result-oriented with high degree of flexibility.
- Strong technical & customer relationship.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications.
- Good command of oral & written English (min B2 level expected)
- Availability to travel.
- Good understanding of HSE policies.
