We’re looking for a passionate Automation Developer to join our team and help ensure the reliability and quality of our hyper-automation platform.
What You Will Do:
- Maintain and improve Torq’s automation infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines to support scale and reduce delivery times.
- Collaborate with developers to build and enhance test plans (unit, integration, E2E) and define the QA lifecycle.
- Develop automated UI and API tests using Playwright for the management app and microservices (Python).
- Contribute to cross-platform and cross-browser integration test frameworks (TypeScript).
- Design and execute performance tests using k6, focusing on scalability and reliability.
What We Are Looking For:
- 3+ years of experience as an automation developer.
- Expertise with UI automation frameworks (Playwright or Puppeteer) and CDP-based tools.
- Strong Python skills for developing test automation frameworks (Pytest, unittest, etc.).
- Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript-based frameworks (Jest, Mocha).
- Proficiency in Bash/shell scripting.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong Advantages:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience with Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes (k8s).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and cloud deployment pipelines.
- Knowledge of testing gRPC microservices and understanding asynchronous patterns.
