The Role

We are seeking an Audit Senior to join our team. This role will be in-office based out of Duluth, GA.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead client audit engagements, which include planning executing, directing, and completing financial audits.
  • Begin to develop advanced technical knowledge
  • Continue to develop understanding of generally accepted auditing standards and common audit procedures and techniques.
  • Research and analyze financial statement and audit related issues.
  • Acquire a working knowledge of the client’s business.
  • Perform other job-related duties as necessary

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business with a certificate in accounting from an accredited university
  • Must be an active CPA in good standing, or are actively pursuing the CPA license
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of public accounting experience
  • Applied working knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), U.S. Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS)
  • Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written with excellent attention to detail.
  • Demonstrates an ability to function at a high level in a deadline driven, time-sensitive environment
  • Highly organized, able to prioritize tasks, responsive and polished communication skills (verbal and written).


Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Accounting
  • Caseware experience
