Audio Designer (Unannounced Project)

Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Mid-Senior Audio Designer to join our team in developing an exciting AAA vehicle hero shooter. The ideal candidate will have solid experience with Wwise, sound design, and implementation, along with a willingness to learn and adapt to our custom engine. This role is pivotal to delivering a rich and immersive audio experience for our players.

What will you do?

• Design and create high-quality audio assets (e.g., vehicle sounds, weapon effects, ambiances, and UI sounds).

• Implement audio assets using Wwise and our proprietary custom engine.

• Use Git for version control and collaborate effectively within the project repository.

• Collaborate closely with game designers, programmers, and other team members to align audio with gameplay and narrative goals.

• Optimize audio assets and systems for performance across various platforms.

• Troubleshoot and resolve audio-related issues in the game.

• Innovate and experiment with audio techniques to enhance player immersion.

• Provide feedback and contribute to the overall creative vision of the project.

What are we looking for?

• Passion for games and game development.

• Proven experience in game audio development.

• Proficiency with Wwise and a strong understanding of audio middleware integration.

• Experience with Git or other version control systems.

• Solid knowledge of audio implementation in games, including scripting or basic programming skills.

• Excellent sound design skills with a keen ear for detail and quality.

• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to new tools and workflows, including proprietary engines.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, with a flexible and proactive attitude.

What additional skills will help you stand out?

• Experience with vehicle audio audio systems.

• Familiarity with spatial audio technologies.

• Knowledge of physics-based or procedural audio design.

• Musical skills.
