About the Role:

We are looking for our first Strategic Finance hire to help drive Nimble's next phase of growth. This role will report directly into the CFO and work closely with the CEO and business leadership to analyze the impact of proposed business decisions, including actual performance, on Nimble's financial health. This individual will own Nimble's corporate model (income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow forecast), lead scenario planning with the CFO and CEO to manage capital investments and business growth, establish and manage budgeting processes with each operational leader, and partner/lead the development of key systems to drive real-time insights into financial drivers and KPIs. This is a high-impact position that spans traditional financial planning & analysis, operational business partnership, and systems development/implementation.

What You'll Do

• Lead Nimble's financial forecast process, assessment of actual performance vs. forecast, identification of key business initiatives to achieve Nimble's targets
• Develop and own the company's income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow forecast
• Work with business stakeholders to analyze the impact of proposed business decisions
• Synthesize Nimble's forecasts for review with Nimble's executive team and Board of Directors
• Support capital investment and headcount growth planning via scenario planning
• Support fundraising and investor discussions
• Establish and lead budgeting processes company-wide with focus on engineering/R&D and new program development
• General support across corporate finance topics, including tax, trade, insurance, and treasury

What You'll Bring

• 4+ years of experience in Investment Banking or Finance at top-tier technology company
• Excellent financial modeling and quantitative/data analysis skills
• Evidence of exceptional ability, especially in an ambiguous environment
• Demonstrated success driving tangible impact / influence within a broader organization
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Humility: a willingness to take on any challenge or problem statement; no task is beneath you
• Creative, intellectually curious, and able to scale steep learning curves quickly: constant urge to learn new things and adopt new practices/technologies to improve operational efficiency

Nice to Have

• Operational finance experience in a hard-tech company (e.g. hardware engineering, manufacturing, physical operations)
• Experience with SQL, data warehouses, and/or analytical tools likes PowerBI/Power Query to drive continuous improvement and efficiency in forecasting and real-time financial insights
