About the Role
As an Associate - University Hiring & Early Careers, you will be at the forefront of identifying and nurturing early career talent. Your role will encompass both university recruitment and the management of early career programs, such as internships and entry-level opportunities. You will collaborate with key stakeholders to build and execute strategies that attract top young talent and provide them with meaningful career pathways within the organization.
A Day in the Life
- Strategic Planning: Partner with hiring managers and HR teams to develop comprehensive strategies for university hiring and early career programs.
- University Relations: Cultivate and maintain relationships with universities, career services, and student organizations to promote the company as an employer of choice.
- Negotiations: Negotiate with colleges and universities to secure dream slots and prime recruitment opportunities for the organization.
- Program Management: Oversee the design and execution of early career programs, including internships, apprenticeships, and entry-level roles.
- Event Coordination: Plan and participate in on-campus and virtual recruitment events, workshops, leadership talks, and pre-placement talks to attract and engage potential candidates.
- Candidate Experience: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for candidates from application to onboarding.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on key metrics related to university hiring and early career programs to continuously improve recruitment outcomes.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate regularly with hiring managers, HR partners, and leadership to align on recruitment goals and program effectiveness.
What You Need
- Education: Bachelor’s. Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: 1- 4 years of experience in university recruitment, early careers management.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in managing multiple projects with competing priorities.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment platforms.
- A deep passion for engaging with and developing early career talent.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong sense of ownership.
- Collaborative and team-oriented with a positive and inclusive approach.
