Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate System Test Engineer to join the F-22 Raptor team’s AGILE Integration Lab (AIL) in Berkeley, MO with a focus on developing cutting edge solutions to the continue to advance the world’s premier air superiority fighter.
As a System Test Engineer, you will be responsible for adapting F-22 aircraft requirements to test requirements, generating test plans, developing test procedures, executing tests in the AIL and on-board the Flying Test Bed, analyzing test data, writing test reports, and providing problem report documentation of test anomalies.
Candidate must be effective at working on an Agile Cross-Functional team, dynamically collaborating with design, software, and test engineers to support the effective fielding of aircraft capabilities through system integration lab test and out to Development & Operational Flight test (DT/OT). Candidate must be effective at working on a diverse team that partners Boeing, Lockheed Martin and the USAF.
Position Responsibilities:

Support the development and verification of test methods
-
Review test data, including off-nominal data, for accuracy, quality and/or fidelity prior to delivery to customer

Prepare and publishes test reports to document test results and satisfy requirements

Use accurate security protocols in the day to day operations of the lab
-
Perform test setup and support
-
Documentation and record activities, process and procedures within the operations of the Avionics Labs
-
Support a safe working environment and safety initiatives during lab operations
-
Assist in demonstrating the effectiveness of test methods
-
Support development of test debrief material
-
Participate in evaluation of test performance data

Prepare test data for review and buy-off
This position is expected to be 100% on site. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim Pre-Start and final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required
This position requires the ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only. F-22 Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science

Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of related work experience OR a Master’s degree
-
Experience in avionics, electrical, and/or a mission systems role
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Experience in the Aerospace Industry

Experience using good communication, analytical, and organizational skills and be able to work in a team environment

Experience creating, developing, and/or maintaining engineering processes

Experience with electronic/electrical system designs based on requirements

Strong knowledge of data structures, system design, and architecture

Experience in utilizing FEM software (e.g., ABAQUS, PATRAN/NASTRAN, Hyperworks)

Experience or training with computer programming languages (e.g., Matlab, Python, Visual Basic)

Experience in utilizing industry CAD systems (e.g., NX/Teamcenter and CATIA/ENOVIA)
-
Candidate demonstrates excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work across functional teams and organizations
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Summary pay range: $79,900 - $108,100
