The Opportunity:
We are seeking an Associate Procurement Specialist to join our team. This role involves applying procurement expertise to support best practices and supply management strategies. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance customer service and support business operations across multiple categories.
What You'll Work On:

Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and promote procurement tools and strategies.

Assist in category management, support of supplier scorecards, and sustainability initiatives.

Contribute to achieving annual targets and supporting category goals.
-
Support contract management, supplier selection, and process efficiency.
-
Assist in developing and implementing RFPs and managing ad-hoc purchases.
-
Educate stakeholders on procurement solutions and tools.
-
Contribute to continuous improvement in procurement processes and tools.
-
Communicate and implement changes within the organization.
-
Assist in resolving issues related to procurement technology and supplier performance.

Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Basic contracting and negotiation skills.
-
Good verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Basic knowledge of procurement best practices and supply management strategies.

Familiarity with contract management and procurement technology platforms.
-
Basic project management, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
-
Effective communication with stakeholders at various levels.
-
Experience in assisting with RFPs and managing supplier relationships.

Familiarity with Source to Pay technology platforms.
