Devsinc is seeking a passionate Software Engineer (Rails + React) to join our growing development team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality web applications using Ruby on Rails for the back-end and React for the front-end. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver effective solutions that not only meet client specifications but also enhance user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain server-side applications using Ruby on Rails.
- Build responsive and dynamic interfaces using React.js.
- Collaborate with designers and product managers to translate UI/UX requirements into functional applications.
- Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic and build RESTful APIs.
- Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness by writing clean, maintainable code.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks, bugs, and other technical issues.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance development processes
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in web development with a focus on Ruby on Rails and React.
- Strong understanding of web development principles and architecture.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating front-end applications with back-end logic.
- Familiarity with databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
