Job Profile Summary: The Associate Sales Engineer will support the pre-sales strategy for current and prospective clients. This role involves collaborating with partners and the sales team to ensure optimal system solutions are provided to both new and existing customers. The Associate Sales Engineer will assist in developing processes and systems to provide quick yet thorough responses to customer Requests For Proposal (RFPs). Additionally, this role includes providing pre-sales support and systems configuration recommendations, and applying methods, theories, and research techniques to solve technical problems. The Associate Sales Engineer will also participate in planning, conducting, and directing projects, including cost estimation, technical leadership, and project evaluation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in establishing pre-sales support strategies for clients.
- Collaborate with partners and sales teams to deliver optimal system solutions.
- Develop and refine processes for responding to customer RFPs efficiently.
- Provide pre-sales support and systems configuration recommendations.
- Apply research techniques and methods to solve technical problems.
- Participate in project planning, cost estimation, and evaluation.
- Serve as a technical resource for long-range planning.

Skills/Experience:
- Up to 5 years of experience in technical or business roles.
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred
- Strong customer focus with the ability to cultivate and develop lasting customer relationships.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and technical acumen.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Desired Skills:
Data Networking
- Proficiency in network design and implementation
- Experience with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Knowledge of network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls)
- Network troubleshooting and optimization skills
Security
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices
- Experience with security tools and technologies (firewalls, intrusion detection systems)
- Knowledge of compliance standards (ISO 27001, GDPR)

Location:
- This position requires you to be onsite 5 days a week at the Plano, TX office.
