About the Position
Old Mission is currently seeking an Associate Project Manager to scale its project delivery capabilities. You will work alongside Old Mission’s Project Manager and be focused on detailed project administration for a broad range of technology projects. Old Mission is at a growth point where proactive communication is required to keep the pressure on the projects that will deliver the greatest business value. The Associate Project Manager will own most project documentation touchpoints and build trusted relationships with competency leaders across the firm. Your work products will be critical to management decision making and pace-keeping business growth. No two projects are the same -this person needs to be comfortable learning new concepts and adept at context switching throughout the day. PMP certification is not required - this is a great opportunity for a natural communicator who has experience leveraging those skills to progress work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Organize and administer project meetings – own agendas, meeting minutes, key follow ups, etc.
- Maintain detailed project charters for all assigned projects.
- Create proactive communications regarding project progress for various levels of firm visibility (C-suite, dept management, project team).
- Collaborate with groups across the firm to both provide and receive information required to keep project charters up to date.
- Work with external vendors to ensure their progress towards delivering on Old Mission project initiatives.
- Build relationships to become a trusted go-to for general project questions that others are not sure how to tackle.
- Clearing administrative project roadblocks, which are oftentimes unknown until the work gets going. Be willing to roll up your sleeves to take on work that no department obviously owns and “figure it out”.
Required Skills
- A Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university.
- 3+ years experience coordinating work for cross functional teams (departmental and hierarchical).
- Significant experience with project documentation (agendas, notes) and meeting management.
- Vendor/client management experience is preferred.
- Strong sense of curiosity and demonstrated professional experience learning new topics quickly.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an emphasis on verbal – must be comfortable on the phone and in person.
- Experience with project management software is a plus: MS Planner, JIRA, GitHub.
- Prior experience in a role requiring adherence to a high level of professionalism.

Base Salary Range
$100,000 - $120,000 - Salaries are based on numerous factors such as skills, experience, and education. Our compensation package also includes a discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits program for full-time employees. For more information, reach out to your recruiter.
