Job Title/High-Level Position Summary: As a Project manager you will work closely within a small dynamic team to complete several small to large projects.  You will be responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of the project while remaining aligned with the strategy, commitments and goals of the organization.  You will lead daily meetings to review project progression, performance of team members and recourse management.  This position will serve as great transition from Education to junior level for a young professional to further project management skills in an array of projects. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take direction from Sr. Project manager to perform mini-projects in direct support of bracing development activities
  • Plan and implement projects while developing project scope, goals and deliverables.
  • Manage the project budget
  • Allocate project resources
  • Present stakeholder reports on progress as well as problems and solutions
  • Implement and manage changes when necessary to meet project deliverables

Minimum Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical or Biomedical)
  • 1+ years of related experience or recent master’s degree in engineering
  • Problem solving and leadership skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Project planning, risk management, time management and other project management skills.
  • Experience in strategic planning, risk management and or change management

Travel Requirements:

  • Should be flexible to travel up to 5% of time

Desired Characteristics:

  • Experience with MS project management and other Microsoft tools.
  • Creativity, communication and teamwork skills.
  • Time management abilities.
  • PMP certification
