Will be responsible to accelerate our customer’s success to go further than they thought possible by providing Technical Expertise and knowledge that help customers achieve business outcomes with PTC Software.

The individual will be part of a highly experienced and energetic Windchill support team located in Pune, India and will support customers across Asia and Worldwide during India business hours. The candidate will help to deliver technical solutions and help customers who will develop best in class products and realize the value of the CAD & PLM solution. 

Your Day-to-Day

What are some of the things this person will be responsible for on a day-to-day basis?

  • Provide support services to assist customers and field staff with the configuration and troubleshooting of MCAD applications (Creo, Solidworks, Catia, AutoCAD or other MCAD solutions) integrated with Windchill PLM and Visualization services.
  • Provide a customer centric service through their understanding of the customers’ issue, knowledge of PTC products, and comprehension of Support Services processes.
  • Developing expert level knowledge of the CAD Applications integrating with Windchill PLM and Visualization services.
  • Creating software configurations, duplicating issues, troubleshooting, investigation of technical problems and tracking the resolution of those problems in collaboration with other PTC departments like R&D and QA as well as communicating the same to customer.
  • Assist in the creation and implementation of technical training and documentation related to the above topics
  • Collaborate with other offices worldwide to provide first class support for mission-critical customers

Must-Have Skills (3-5 bullet points)

What are the things that cannot be taught or learned within the first 6-12 months of starting their job?

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree (B.E) in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Masters in Computer Application MCA or related field
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in troubleshooting issues related to Windchill / PLM interaction with CAD (Creo, Solidworks, AutoCAD or other MCAD solutions) and/or Client-Server architecture
  • Experience in any CAD application (Creo, Solidworks, Catia, UGNX, AutoCAD) is a must
  • Unix/Windows: User level with basic administration knowledge
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
