IQVIA Consulting Services team helps pharmaceutical clients bring their products to market effectively and maintain an optimized promotional strategy through to product life cycle. Our consulting projects span areas such as Sales Force Effectiveness, Go to Market Strategy, Commercial Organization Design and Market Assessment, and combine quantitative analysis of IQVIA’s data assets with qualitative insights gained from IQVIA experts or from primary market research. 

We are looking for a talented and motivated candidate for an Associate Principal position to join our Consulting team based in Prague, Czech.

Associate Principal will be responsible from owning client engagement, driving the consulting business, leading the consulting team, working directly with clients to develop business opportunities and overseeing projects delivered by the Consulting Teams.

As member of leadership team, she/he will be expected to collaborative closely with other IQVIA departments to shape innovative ways of addressing our clients’ problems using IQVIA’s wealth of data assets, analytical capabilities and subject matter expertise. She/he would be responsible for owning relationships within large pharmaceutical companies’ regional teams and other biopharma/ life science stakeholders and would be expected to perform against assigned revenue targets.

Key accountabilities:

  • Own business and client engagements within the area of management consulting in the country with ultimate responsibility for client satisfaction and delivering high levels of quality/added value.

  • Take a leadership role within the Consulting team, responsible for line management of 5-10 team members, and responsible for improving ways of working throughout the team.

  • Meets or exceeds assigned revenue targets by developing and delivering insightful, value-added solutions that address complex client issues.

  • Responsible for significant and tangible client impact from all engagements.

  • Seeks out and identifies new revenue opportunities at existing and potential clients – ensures a continuous flow of business from client engagements.

  • Takes a lead role in proposal development to ensure actionable, on-target and timely proposals are provided to clients.

  • Serves as a solutions-based expert, internally and externally, by applying consultative problem-solving skills.

  • Identifies issues of importance to the industry/clients and works with Centre of Excellence Leaders and/or Geographic Leaders to develop tangible and commercial offerings.

  • Contributes to the enhanced awareness of IQVIA in the marketplace, e.g. through speaking engagements, client meetings, publications, etc.

  • Proactively continues to strengthen subject matter expertise through on the job experience, participation in conferences and symposiums and other forums for professional knowledge sharing.

  • Proactively mentors, coaches and shares subject matter expertise with others to elevate our capabilities to deliver world-class solutions for clients.

Key Requirements:

  • Master's Degree preferred

  • Solid experience in consulting industry (+8 years) and preferably in Life sciences on the local market

  • Fluency in Czech and English

  • In-depth and long-standing relationships with client companies, especially at a senior level

  • Deep expertise in areas such as sales force effectiveness, go-to-market strategy, commercial organisation design and market assessment

  • Possesses exemplary business development skills 

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, juggle priorities and deliver on tight deadlines.

  • Excellent presentation, communication and client influencing skills.
