Meet the Team:

This position is our champion within the professional and patient education marketing team for an exciting Dexcom Portfolio in the EMEA / LATAM region.  Working in partnership with medical affairs, the Associate Marketing Manager– Professional & Patient Education will deliver education to healthcare professionals (secondary care, primary care, pharmacy) & patients as a key enabler to drive CGM adoption across the diabetes spectrum. 

They will work collaboratively with the global, regional, and country marketing teams, medical affairs, clinical, regulatory, legal and compliance teams to develop compelling education content and programmes.  This person is a dedicated achiever and thrives in a fast-paced environment.  They are an effective communicator that can convert scientific information into clearly understandable and compelling fashion for clinical and non-clinical stakeholders.  They are also a strong collaborator that builds and leverages cross-functional relationships to bring together ideas and share best practices.

Where You Come In:

  • You will develop regional baseline material for education and training aligned to the professional education strategy to support HCPs in primary and secondary care.
  • You are responsible for the development and implementation of programs and projects to support the marketing, advocacy, and education of CGM as standard of care throughout EMEA regions for all people living with diabetes (e.g., education platforms, webinars, accredited training programs)
  • You will develop and deliver the patient education and onboarding plan for the region across the product portfolio, supporting local markets with the appropriate tools and platform to support implementation.
  • You support the project management of Professional and patient education programs.
  • You will provide marketing and education resources to support sales teams’ educational efforts in field (product training, clinical studies/clinical selling and advocacy, etc.) to support the growth of CGM as standard of care in type 1 and type 2 diabetes.
  • You identify innovative marketing & educational opportunities to develop initiatives to increase CGM awareness and drive CGM adoption within educational settings that train/educate HCPs.
  • You will report to the Sr Marketing Manager EMEA.

What Makes You Successful:

  • You have a degree in Life Sciences.  We welcome candidates that are MD, Registered dietitian (RD), Registered Nurse (RN), Pharmacist (PharmD), Nurse Practitioner (NP) or other relevant clinical degree required.
  • You bring experience from marketing in the medical field, diabetes management preferred
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills required (both patient-facing and HCP communication).
  • You bring experience in developing educational content (presentations, digital assets, accredited content) to convey key messages with intended audience.
  • You are team-focused and strong collaborator to work with a highly functioning marketing team, yet ability to work independently and use critical thinking skills to make independent decisions on project basis.
  • Your experience in medical device or pharma would be preferred.
  • You are English fluent
  • You are willing to travel domestically and internationally as required.

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2-5 years of related experience.
