(Overview)
SageSure, an innovation-focused insurance and technology company, is seeking a Marketing Manager who will play a critical role in the company's future success by developing integrated campaign strategies and plans across the organization, as well as lend marketing leadership and expertise at a market level in collaboration with our Field Sales team.
A critical part of this role will involve identifying new and emerging opportunities, development of strategic plans to address the opportunity or need and then ensuring high-quality delivery and execution of core marketing campaigns and other activities designed to grow the business. The ideal candidate will have experience designing, implementing, tracking, and optimizing campaigns heavy in digital mediums.
What you'll be doing:
• Work with multiple departments to develop an understanding of the producer mindset, interest and lifecycle.
• Consult and collaborate with key internal and external partners to develop marketing plans to meet business needs/objectives.
• Develop market understanding to recognize trends and opportunities that could be used to help differentiate SageSure and provide a competitive advantage.
• Work with internal and external creative resources by writing effective briefs and leading productive cross functional meetings to ensure execution delivers on the objectives, on time, on budget and on brand.
• Ensure assigned marketing programs, promotions and activities are tracked and measured to determine their ROI and success.
• Identify and encourage strategic enhancements and efficiencies that can be gained by leveraging technology, enabling deeper personalization, greater engagement and an improved agent experience.
• Apply an analytical mindset in optimization efforts of all initiatives and campaigns.
• Partner with marketing and other business leaders to develop and execute annual marketing plans.
• Proactively provide visibility to insights through the effective use of technology, marketing tools, experience mapping and business analytics
• Maintain knowledge of the latest innovation in marketing with an eye for improving SageSure's capabilities
• Develop and lead marketing initiatives, as well as coach others on how to think strategically.
We are looking for someone who has:
• A self-starting, motivated, strategic minded individual, comfortable working with analytics and a proven record of utilizing data to track and measure results.
• Experience leading efforts utilizing traditional, new, paid and owned media.
• Ability to find creative ways to impact our business by driving strategic outcomes among producers.
• Develops and leads marketing initiatives, as well as coaches’ others on how to think strategically.
• Passion for innovative ideas and technology that could improve our marketing capabilities.
• Knowledge of CRM / marketing automation platforms (like Salesforce — a huge plus!)
• Experience working with and supporting a sales team, clients and partners.
• Experience in the insurance (especially property/casualty) or financial category
• The ability to see the big picture while also working to execute at the ground level.
• Professional business presence and acumen with comfort presenting to leaders and executives.
• Meticulous with outstanding written and oral communication and strong cross-functional collaboration skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field
• 2-3 years of experience working within Marketing
• B2B marketing experience
Highly preferred candidates also have:
• Marketing Certifications – PCM, DMI, Google, Facebook, Etc.
• Experience with Wrike or other Project Management Tools
• Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce Sales Cloud
