This role is responsible for supporting Fortitude Re’s communication, branding and social media strategy. This position will improve and maintain the online reputation of the brand, communicate marketing intelligence trends, identify marketing communication needs, and assist with events/sponsorships. This role will also assist in the development and implementation of the company’s internal communications strategy to inform and engage colleagues. This role will be based in our Nashville, TN office on a hybrid basis, and report to the SVP, Marketing & Communications. Relocation assistance will be provided to the Nashville TN, area.
What You Will Do:

Manage the corporate social media strategy, bringing innovative thinking and industry-leading practices to our strategy.

Manage content and updates to the company’s external website.

Assist with content development for The Fort—Fortitude Re’s colleague intranet.

Assist in the development and implementation of the corporate strategic marketing plan.

Collaborate with company stakeholders to research, compose, and communicate messages/information to internal and external audiences using print, digital, and social media platforms.

Collaborate with SVP, Marketing and Communications to support the organization's participation in external events, including key conferences, community, civic, social, and educational events.

Work with outside vendors, to include the design of marketing materials and video creation, as well as website design and development.

Assist in keeping management informed about industry news and developments that may affect the organization.

Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
What You Will Have:

Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Communications or related field preferred.
-
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.

Design experience with collateral materials design software, i.e. Adobe Suite, etc, preferred.

Excellent written and oral communications and project management skills required.
-
Working knowledge of social media platforms including LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, etc.

Ability to handle multiple projects and effectively manage time required.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across different departments required.

Ability and willingness to sometimes travel to the multiple office sites of the Company, including occasional overnights, required.

Ability to manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

The base salary range for this role is listed below and will be commensurate with candidate experience. Pay ranges for candidates may differ based on the cost of labor in that location. In addition to base salary, all employees are eligible for an annual bonus based on company and individual performance as well as a generous benefits package.

$70,000—$90,000 USD
