As our Ad Operations Manager, you will design and deliver cutting edge digital advertising strategies used by a large percentage of the music industry. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of our ad team, ensuring we deliver outstanding customer service while executing high-performing campaigns and scaling operations.
In this role, you will lead our White Glove Service team. Your team is responsible for planning, executing, and reporting on all digital advertising campaigns for our enterprise clients. You will play a critical role in managing the ad operations workflow, ensuring campaigns are launched accurately and on time, and that performance metrics are continuously monitored and improved. Your expertise will contribute to the scalability and efficiency of our operations, ensuring that your White Glove Service team constantly delivers results as we grow.
Additionally, you will design and test marketing strategies alongside our engineering team to create new and innovative product features used by your team and our customers.
What You’ll Do
LEAD
- Use your expertise in Ad Operations to positively lead, manage and inspire a team of ad buyers
- Provide ongoing training on media buying strategies, platform updates, and emerging tools.
- Monitor team performance, streamline workflows, and implement process improvements.
COLLABORATE
- Foster collaboration between ad buyers, creatives, and analysts to enhance campaign performance.
- Work closely with clients, sales, and creative teams to define campaign goals, budgets, and KPIs.
EXECUTE
- Oversee the setup, launch, and management of ad campaigns across platforms like Meta, Google, and TikTok.
- Own and optimize digital ad spend by analyzing performance data and adjusting strategies to improve results.
- Troubleshoot campaign performance issues, ad delivery challenges and partner integrations.
- Implement and maintain best practices for conversion tracking, attribution, and performance measurement.
INNOVATE
- Develop and implement data-driven ad buying strategies to maximize ROI.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and analytics teams to enhance operational efficiencies and improve advertising effectiveness.
- Develop and execute A/B testing strategies to refine targeting, creative, and overall campaign effectiveness.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging ad technologies, and platform updates to drive innovation.
What You Bring
- 7+ years of experience in digital advertising operations, media buying, and/or programmatic advertising.
- 2+ years of experience managing and leading teams.
- Expertise in ad platforms like Facebook Business Manager, Google Ads Manager, TikTok Business Manager, and Snapchat Ads Manager.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot campaign delivery issues, manage pixels, and implement tracking solutions.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and translate insights into action.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and project management abilities.
- Skilled in cross-team collaboration, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Passion for the music industry and an understanding of how digital marketing drives artist success.
Compensation & Benefits
💰 Salary: $100,000-$120,000 + equity (commensurate with experience).
🏡 Work Environment: Hybrid (Nashville-based, 2-3 days in office) with a flexible, remote-friendly culture. Candidates need to be local to the Nashville area for consideration at this time.
