Position Overview
Exact Sciences is seeking a talented Marketing technologist to join our Customer Engagement & Web Experience team. This team supports Marketing, Customer Experience (CX) and various business teams across the enterprise to deploy customer-centric omnichannel journeys and campaigns. The role combines product management, marketing, business analysis and solutions architecture to ensure the success of key initiatives. Day to day, you’ll be working within our Customer Engagement Platform, Braze, to strategically build & deploy segments, journeys and campaign logic to deliver exceptional customer experiences. These customer experiences directly serve our mission to help save lives. This role will be responsible for ensuring patients and health care providers take their next best action to drive improved health outcomes. This role is for the marketing and/or CX professional who is technologically skilled, wants to flex some creativity and truly wants to make a difference to help eradicate cancer.
Essential Duties
Include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Execute one-off campaigns & recurring journey automations using the company’s Customer Engagement Platform / Marketing Automation software.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, customer experience, and design teams, to create integrated campaigns that drive engagement, conversion, and retention.
- Oversee omnichannel journeys across email, SMS, outbound phone, direct mail, web and paid media activations – both transactional & marketing communications.
- Execute segmentation strategies to drive more meaningful and relevant experiences with customers & prospects.
- Implement automation strategies to increase leads, drive acquisition, and build customer lifetime value.
- Collaborate with business leads to ideate and execute a/b and multivariate testing strategies to drive innovative solutions.
- Work in an agile environment within a full stack value stream squad to execute work, supporting experience product management & marketing leads.
- Maintain documentation of campaign requirements and processes.
- Ensure our journey automations & campaigns align with industry best practices.
- Stay up-to-date on trends and innovation in Marketing Automation and Technology, bringing new ideas to the team for consideration.
- Analyze campaign performance data to derive key takeaways to share with stakeholders and teammates.
- Collaborate with IT and other technical teams to ensure seamless integration of MarTech platforms with other systems, such as CRM, analytics, digital properties, etc.
- Apply innate curiosity to learn new skills, technologies, methods to deploy best-in-class campaigns & journeys.

- Maintain regular and reliable attendance.

- Ability to travel 10% of working time away from work location, may include overnight/weekend travel.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or relevant field as outlined by essential duties OR associate’s degree at 2 additional years of relevant experience OR High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 4 additional years of relevant experience.
- 2+ years of experience in marketing technology deploying customer facing experiences and/or campaigns to end users.
- Sound knowledge of using automation tools like Braze, Adobe Campaign, Iterable, Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar technologies.
- Knowledge of email automation & journey orchestration technology.
- Understanding of lead generation procedures and customer lifecycle.
- Proficient understanding of digital marketing techniques.
- Practical knowledge of consumer psychology and behavior.
- Ability to collaborate with team members from other departments.
- Strong project management skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to the ever-changing consumer behavior.
- Analytical and driven by data metrics.
- Proficient understanding of CAN-SPAM, CCPA, GDPR, HIPPA, TCPA and related compliance requirements as it relates to Marketing systems implementation and management within the healthcare industry.
- Proficient in audience segmentation, campaign set up, developing segments using "and/or" statement clauses.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to effectively QA campaigns before deployment.
- Intermediate skills in general office systems, equipment and applications to support business needs (e.g., Microsoft Office, Project Management systems, Miro, etc).
- Must be able to analyze, evaluate, and determine the appropriate course of action.
- Must be able to convey knowledge to customers, peers, and managers of widely diverse skill levels.
- Possession of or ability to obtain Braze certification within 12 months of hire and maintain throughout employment in position.
- Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using or certification in Braze, Customer Engagement Platform.
- Experience creating target audiences or reporting via SQL and filtered Data Extensions from multiple related datasets is a plus.
- Deep knowledge in email & SMS deployment, HTML editing, delivery monitoring and reporting.
- Knowledge of full development lifecycles for software applications using tools such as JIRA desired.

Salary Range:
$85,000.00 - $135,000.00
The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US - WI - Madison on a full-time basis. In addition, this position is bonus eligible, and is eligible to receive company stock upon hire as well as annually.
