About the Role:
The role of an Associate Manager is to ensure the well-being and development of all employees to support the organization's goals. As a core leader, you will be responsible for motivating, encouraging, and supporting line management (pod leadership) in every aspect to enable the team to succeed. The primary duty will be to lead all the efforts driving the team of 100+ employees and strategically enable their performance by running multiple programs simultaneously. 

Additionally, you will be managing the performance, growth, and efficiency of the line managers and facilitating them to unlock the team's potential. Building strategies around performance management such as building the KPIs (key performance indicators) for all roles, identifying both low and high performers, and recognizing top performers while building a Performance Improvement Plan for low performers to help them achieve the minimum bar we set through KPIs will also be a crucial responsibility. 

Apart from these, you will be working with multiple department directors, internal managers, and other stakeholders, including HR, Benefits, Product, Compliance, Safety, and all the engineering teams to ensure effective communication and alignment with the company's goals and values. You will also identify and implement best practices to improve employee engagement, productivity, and overall team performance. 

Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards, industry regulations, and legal requirements will be another responsibility. Finally, you will conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to all team members to improve their skills and competencies.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with support teams, and partners to ensure long-term business success and growth.
  • Identify and resolve conflicts or issues within the team or between teams to promote a harmonious and collaborative work environment.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and creativity, leading the development of strategic plans that foster employee potential and growth.
  • Enable the team towards success by motivating, encouraging, and supporting line management (pod leadership) in all aspects.
  • Drive the team of 100+ employees by leading all efforts.
  • Increase team performance strategically by implementing multiple programs simultaneously.
  • Setting clear goals and expectations by defining roles and responsibilities, defining performance goals, and outlining project objectives.
  • Manage the growth, performance, and efficiency of line managers and help them unlock the team's potential.
  • Develop strategies for performance management, including creating KPIs for all roles and identifying high and low performers.
  • Recognize top performers and create Performance Improvement Plans to help low performers achieve minimum KPI standards.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure that all teams align with the company's goals and values.
  • Implement best practices to improve employee engagement, productivity, and team performance.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations, legal requirements, and company standards, and conduct regular performance evaluations to provide constructive feedback to improve team members' skills and competencies.
  • To support organizational goals, ensure all employees' well-being and development are taken care of.
  • To assist your team members in developing their skills by providing feedback on strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Work with internal managers and other stakeholders to develop and implement cross-functional projects and initiatives that support organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with HR to manage staffing needs, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and career development.
  • Manage budgets, forecast expenses, and identify areas for cost-saving opportunities.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve team processes, communication, and workflows to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Encourage team members to share their ideas and insights

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience leading and driving a support-focused continuous growth to the organization
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Business Administration, Management, Human Resources)
  • At least 4 years of experience in a managerial role, preferably in a similar industry
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and inspire teams toward success
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring timely delivery of all tasks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify areas of improvement and implement effective solutions
  • Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment, partnering with senior stakeholders to deliver business outcomes
  • Knowledge of performance management strategies and tools, including KPIs, performance evaluations, and employee development plans
  • Understanding of industry regulations and legal requirements related to HR and employee management
  • Prior experience leading change management across large organizations
