Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Associate IT Analyst to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Microsoft Windows administration and previous experience assisting a broad team with their IT needs. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation and support of end-user computing environments both in our Costa Rica office and globally.
What You’ll Do:
- Required to be in office at least 3 days a week
- Administer and support Microsoft Windows operating systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person, resolving hardware and software issues.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in Microsoft Entra.
- Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and patches to ensure security and performance.
- Assist in the deployment and management of desktop and laptop computers, including imaging and software installation.
- Monitor and respond to help desk tickets, ensuring timely resolution and excellent customer service.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to implement and improve IT processes and procedures.
- Document technical procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.
- Manage the WeWork account and mobile app, including issuing badges, managing badge requests, provisioning guest access, and supporting user issues
- Assist with on-site media presentations and livestream broadcasts
- Provide hands-on IT support for PC, Mac, and mobile devices
- Oversee laptop inventory management, including exchanges, warranty/repairs
- Manage local employee onboarding and offboarding logistics, including coordinating deliveries and packaging laptops for transit
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall goals and objectives of the department/company.
What You’ll Need:
- 2-5 years of progressive experience in IT support, help desk, or call center environments.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems (Windows 11) and MacOS.
- Experience with Entra/Active Directory, Group Policy, and user account management.
- Familiarity with remote desktop tools and software deployment methods.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Windows Client) are a plus
