This position will be a hybrid work arrangement, which translates to 3 days minimum per week in the office in Frankfurt.
HarbourVest has a global Investor Relations team focused on institutional clients. Partnering with HarbourVest, clients have access to customized solutions, longstanding relationships, actionable insights, and proven results.
As such, HarbourVest is seeking to hire an IR Associate to support the account manager in DACH as part of the EMEA IR Team.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel

Fluent in German and English (professional) and preferably one additional European language (French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch)
What you will do:

Supporting Account Managers across the whole fundraising cycle (Prospecting, Pipeline Management, Marketing Materials, DD-Phase, Finalist Presentations and Closing of Commitments).

Supporting Account Managers in developing and further expanding HarbourVest brand in DACH e.g. preparing investor teach-ins/ learning exchange materials and memos

Supporting investors due diligence requests and coordinate investors queries

Creating presentations and memorandums for senior management

Market research and competitor analysis

Leveraging investment activities and fundraising across all funds/ customized solutions to create bespoke update email templates

Working closely with global Marketing team, RFP team, Client Services team and other firm wide functions across all seniority to win new clients and support on cross selling activities

Performing client segmentation analysis and competitor analysis to increase market penetration in DACH and EMEA regions

Preparing tailored Salesforce / Preqin reporting and analysis

Analyzing and preparing internal presentations on fundraising, and assisting with setting up targets for the region

Cash flow modelling for existing and new commitments
Education Preferred:
-
Bachelor of Arts or Science (BS/BA) or equivalent experience
Experience:
-
1-3 Years of experience in alternative investment, investment banking/ asset management, or product specialist types of roles
-
Profound knowledge in MS Office and experience in Salesforce
