This position offers a unique opportunity to shape and drive the success of Seso’s fast-growing insurance program. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate closely with Account Executives and other insurance brokers to integrate insurance solutions into Seso's product offerings and go-to-market motion. Leveraging your expertise in workers compensation coverage and other P&C lines, you will guide prospects and customers through the application, quoting, and binding processes while fostering strong relationships with underwriters to ensure the best outcomes for our clients. This role is ideal for a motivated insurance professional with a passion for delivering exceptional service and enhancing client satisfaction in the dynamic and innovative environment of a high-growth, venture-backed tech company.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Account Executives (AEs) to drive insurance sales as part of Seso’s overall product suite offering
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on Seso’s workers compensation program on sales calls with prospects and existing Seso customers
  • Manage all insurance production activities throughout the application, quote, proposal and binding process
  • Develop strong relationships with underwriters to secure competitive terms for clients
  • Handle endorsement requests and ensure timely and accurate updates to policies
  • Assist clients with claims, as needed, including guidance on completing claims forms and navigating the claims process
  • Drive policy renewals and maintain high levels of client satisfaction through proactive service and communication
  • Manage client requests for certificates of insurance, endorsements and other policy service-related inquiries
  • Log all customer and broker activity in company systems
  • Participates in continuing education to maintain licensure and industry credentials

Skillset

  • 5+ years experience as a P&C insurance broker, with strong command of workers compensation coverage, exposures and markets
  • Demonstrated knowledge of core insurance principles and structures, with ability to provide explanation to clients
  • Demonstrated excellence in communication, negotiating and influencing skills
  • Familiarity with Applied Epic / EZLynx and Salesforce CRM
  • Fluency in Spanish a plus
  • Prior experience in Agriculture a plus
  • Prior experience in the tech industry a plus

Comp:
Base up to $120,000/ $175,000 OTE
