Team Overview

The Associate Incentive Specialist is part of our Residential Pricing team. This position is based in our corporate office in Parsippany, NJ and will be on a hybrid 3:2 in office schedule.

Summary:

The Associate Incentive Specialist is responsible for having direct oversight and management of the following programs: distributor rebates, distributor invoice verification programs, contractor rebates (GAF Rewards), and builder filebacks. In this role, the Associate Incentive Specialist will be expected to build strong relationships with GAF’s contractors, builders, distributors, sales team, and other GAF departments. This position will also be expected to generate and implement new and innovative solutions to enhance the overall experience, customer engagement, and generate cost savings.

Essential Duties:

  • Analytics and Data Manipulations
    • Run fiscal month end reports for GAF leadership
    • Able to access auditor reporting systems and pull required information
    • Analyze data to identify linked rebate programs
    • Utilize internal systems to make recommendations for new opportunities
  • Program Administration
    • Gather business requirements and program details from Sales
    • Handle incentive program updates with GAF IT and/or 3rd party auditors
    • Audit customer reports for accuracy
    • Initiate payment processes
    • Communicate accurate data to internal and external customers in a timely fashion
    • Be a point of contact for internal and external customers for issue resolution
  • Process Improvement
    • Identifies opportunities to streamline and simplify workflow.
    • Coordinates with team members to execute new ideas or approaches and achieve process improvement goals.
  • Define problems with current processes, and work with the appropriate functions/teams/groups to develop solutions.
  • Project Management
    • Member of the cross functional project team working to improve our processes
    • Assist with projects involving new products and services
    • Identifies the type of resources required to support a project, and makes recommendations for specific people, technology, partners, etc.
    • Manages the implementation of the solution(s).
    • Monitors progress to meet project milestones, timelines, specifications and requirements.
    • Provides project management support for existing projects.
  • Be a point of contact for contractors, builders, distributors and the sales force to resolve issues related to the status of submissions, invoice eligibility, and discrepancies in incentive payouts versus expected payouts.
  • Work autonomously with sales and/or marketing to coordinate program activities including the processing of distributor/contractor/builder incentive plans
  • Subject matter expert for one or more of the following programs:
    • Distributor rebates
    • Contractor rebates
    • Builder rebates
    • Premier Roofing Dealer (PRD)
  • Actively participate in cross functional initiatives including, but not limited to:
    • Manage new vendor setups
    • Provide monthly account balances of accruals and payments
    • Coordinate general ledger reconciliation with accounting
    • Expansion of rebate data feeds with IT
  • Perform User Acceptance Testing for all changes to GAF's accrual and payment processes
  • Identify revenue leakage and opportunities for process improvement
  • Develop and execute strategies and solutions that will help achieve the company’s strategic goals and objectives.
  • Educate and train team members, and work in close partnership with field sales and key customers to achieve high quality departmental service
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Under This Roof, We Require

  • Two or more years of related work experience
  • A Bachelor's degree in a business discipline preferred, but not required
  • Experience with customer incentives is desirable

  • Proficient in Google Business Suites or Microsoft Business Suite.
  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft, Tableau and additional pricing tools.
  • Strong project and record management.
  • Strong attention to detail
