Job Description:
The Global Client Group (GCG) is Dimensional's distribution arm, comprised of sales channels that target a diverse client set. By putting the client first, we strive to transform the way the world invests, and our solutions are testament to the value provided to our clients. The GCG Operations team supports the day-to-day operational needs of the sales group in the areas of business insights, investment operations, client onboarding, reporting and administrative services. Reporting to a Client Group Operations Manager, the Associate will assist in the daily oversight of outsourced fund operations as well as be involved in other operational initiatives encompassed by the Team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in producing periodic reports for the sales team and their clients.
- Participate in the oversight and processing of daily operations with the back-office and internal departments.
- Service client inquiries and provide quality service and an excellent customer experience to our client facing team through contact with dealers and the back-office.
- Assist with the onboarding process of new dealers/advisors.
- Escalate issues from internal & external stakeholders to assist in resolution with the service provider
- Support special projects and initiatives for GCG Operations and other groups on an ad hoc basis
- Coordinate with colleagues globally to align on best practices.
- Identify areas to improve report automation and partner with colleagues to implement solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree: Finance, Business or Economics preferred
- Excellent computer skills (advanced Excel, querying data, working with databases and CRM) with the ability to quickly learn and become proficient in new programs
- Results and detail-oriented individual capable of prioritizing multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal skills among clients, peers and to immediate manager
- Ability to proactively develop fresh ideas that provide solutions to workplace challenges
- Proactively communicates needs, challenges, and capacity
- Build constructive working relationships within the team and with other departments and service providers
- Seeks and acquires new competencies, work methods, ideas, and information that will improve own efficiency and effectiveness on the job
- Ability to seek and improve from constructive feedback in a progressive way over time
- Consistently engage with the Investment Operations team, peer departments and the work environment in a productive way, including adherence with firm and department hybrid work policies and practices
