Education and Experience preferred:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering / technology.

0-3 years of experience with electrical equipment maintenance, testing and/or design.

A registered professional engineer or the ability to obtain certification is a plus.
Skills and Requirements
-
Experience with the interpretation of network operating procedures, safety instructions, the national electrical safety code, regulatory reliability metrics.

Experience with ANSI, IEEE, and NETA electrical equipment testing standards.

Good communication, problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills.
-
Experience with SAP.

Ability to analyze test results.
-
Ability to support the creation of detailed reports and process manuals.
-
Familiarity with equipment maintenance concepts such as Reliability Centered Maintenance, Condition Based Maintenance, Etc.

Familiarity with utility Transmission and Distribution Standards
Responsibilities
Evaluates test data, performs engineering analyses associated with maintenance engineering activities, and creates reports. (80%). Participates in working groups with other Avangrid and Iberdrola companies/departments for new initiatives to align processes, share experiences, and develop global standards. (10%) Provides regular updates on the progress of maintenance activities. Expedites the implementation of maintenance activities when necessary. (10%)
