The Environmental Product Compliance Engineer will be responsible for supporting and maintaining regulatory compliance activities for integrated circuit products and modules manufactured by Analog Devices. This role requires application of electronic engineering principles, integrated circuits, other passive and active components and manufacturing knowledge to evaluate regulatory status to applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations.
Job Responsibilities
- Support technical responses and declarations to customer requests regarding product compliance, including generation of IPC reports from the Compliance Database, and approved customer portal support.
- Utilize and support Customer inquiry system and metrics.
- Engage with suppliers to collect documentation and validate regulatory compliance of materials.
- Utilize and maintain Compliance Database for material and component data.
- Review BOMs and technical documentation to validate regulatory compliance of products.
- Perform review of material compositions and interpret test reports related to banned and restricted substances and materials compliance requirements.
Qualifications:
- Electrical, Chemical, Materials or related Engineering discipline Degree (B.S. at minimum)
- Ability to perform high-quality detail-oriented work (e.g., interpreting governmental regulations, evaluating environmental attributes of materials and products)
- Exceptional analytical, investigative, and organizational skills.
- Exceptional technical communication skills.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications
