The Design Evaluation Engineer is responsible for designing. developing, and implementing bench test solutions for new products in the China Business Unit. The selected candidate is responsible for authoring characterization plan, bench test methodology, and evaluation reports. The selected candidate will also work closely with Design and Test Engineering Teams in evaluating the product's functionality and performance.
Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering
Experience:
- Strong electronics foundation and technical background in analog and digital circuits, especially on ADCs, DACs, AFE, mixed-signal, and digital I/O circuit blocks.
- Strong knowledge in using bench test equipment such as Source Meters, Oscilloscopes, Frequency Counters, and Spectrum Analyzers.
- Proficient in Software such as C, C++, C#, Visual Basic, LabVIEW, python, and/or other programming languages
- Strong knowledge in IC fabrication, assembly, and test processes.
- Strong knowledge in IC/Module test and measurement systems.
- Strong knowledge in IC qualification/reliability testing is an advantage.
- Strong Project Management, statistical analysis, and problem-solving skills
Knowledge, skill and abilities:
- Self-driven, agile, team-oriented, ability to handle pressure and with good moral character.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform physical silicon device evaluation, characterization, and debug.
- Work with cross functional teams to identify, simulate and correct device function and parametric problems.
- Develop evaluation methodology and measurement plans.
- Design hardware and software solutions to support new product design evaluation.
- Work with design and test engineers on validating and correlating design bench reference data to ATE data.
- Document evaluation results according to Design Evaluation documentation requirements.
