Job Summary

The Associate Director, Talent Acquisition oversees the full life cycle of the recruiting process. Your passion for keeping abreast of industry, market trends, and innovative approaches to solve evolving business challenges through acquiring top talent will be key to success in this role. You influence through strong relationship building and through providing best in class service to hiring managers and candidates alike.

The position reports to the Director, Talent Acquisition and actively manages acquisition of talent for Executive-Level roles as well as specialized searches. The ideal candidate will be a highly experienced recruiting professional, that is adaptable, able to manage a high volume of operational work and individual requisitions simultaneously without sacrificing quality, communication, or candidate experience.

In partnership with Senior Leaders, you will support the corporate talent acquisition strategy, maintaining a clear focus on relationship management, candidate generation, employer branding, and candidate experience. You will independently execute strategic and operational projects and programs as needed. You will function as a Subject Matter Expert on the recruitment process and sourcing strategies, helping to establish best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Employ a consultative approach to help drive decisions on recruitment and hiring
  • Devise creative and effective sourcing strategies through various channels that will deliver the right talent at the right time to meet the staffing needs of the organization
  • Guide candidates seamlessly through the interview process; set expectations, provide thoughtful feedback, negotiate and close all offers
  • Support ongoing strategic development of recruiting processes: identifying competitive landscapes, providing insight on competitive benchmarking, defining candidate populations, and supporting refinement of the employer brand
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines to address current and future staffing needs of the organization
  • Act as a mentor to Talent Acquisition team members earlier in their career
  • Attend networking events, industry career fairs, and corporate events as needed
  • Efficiently and accurately maintain all Talent Acquisition tools and systems – Workday, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Contribute to the development of new Talent Acquisition initiatives, building supporting documentation when necessary
  • Develop strategic partnerships through closely working with Senior Leaders and Managers to gain insights into their business and talent needs

Job Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience recruiting in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or similar field of study or 15+ years’ experience in lieu of education
  • Successful track record recruiting and filling Executive Level and Highly Specialized roles
  • In-depth knowledge of the recruitment landscape, and deep commitment to continued self-education
  • Advanced knowledge and proven experience using LinkedIn and other search vehicles to source specialized industry talent
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) – Workday preferred
  • Experience consulting, presenting, and communicating with Senior Leaders and other key stakeholders
  • Demonstrated analytical, creative thinking, and negotiation skills
  • Previous experience working in complex businesses that demonstrates an understanding of how to effectively manage/balance cultural and organizational dynamic nuances
  • Knowledge of employment and immigration law is preferred.
  • Strong ability to multitask and juggle multiple priorities with competing demands.
  • Experience in a fast-growing company where you understand flexibility and adaptability in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Highest level of integrity and ability to keep information confidential

Work Location:

This is a hybrid position based out of our Zionsville, IN, office located at 10555 Group 1001 Way. We are seeking candidates local to the Indianapolis metro area and willing to commute to that office on a regular basis.
