Four Seasons Hotel and Residences is part of a 65-storey mixed-use tower that will include 242 Four Seasons Private Residences, 27 serviced apartments, a 209-key Four Seasons Hotel and a six- floor of 250,000 square foot luxury retail podium, collectively known as Four Seasons Place Kuala Lumpur. The latest addition to the city’s dramatic skyline and a vibrant hub for both business and leisure travelers, Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur will be conveniently located in close proximity to the city’s major attractions, including the Petronas Twin Towers and the Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC). Associate Director of Sales (Cluster Role)
Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur is looking for an Associate Director of Sales (Cluster Role) to meet budgeted sales goals for both Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur & Four Seasons Resort Langkawi. Candidates with passion for excellence, expertise in hospitality sales and proven leadership experience are invited to apply for a career with Four Seasons. As a member of the Marketing Division, the Associate Director of Sales (Cluster Role) works across disciplines to deliver an exceptional experience and provide leadership. This position reports to the Senior Director of Sales.
Responsibilities:

Strong knowledge and experience of the leisure/FIT segment including wholesalers, DMCs and luxury travel agencies.

Experience in MICE sales and contracting.

Develop new and existing accounts in designated markets, local and international, and provide market intelligence for the group pipeline, forecast meetings, marketing plan and annual fiscal budget.

Actively partake in the weekly group pipeline meeting, forecast meetings.
-
Responsible for planning and executing sales trips, client events, sales calls and customer recognition to effectively position the hotel in the buying cycle.

This position will include travel to designated territories.

Negotiate contract specifics to achieve maximum profitability.

Promote local awareness through maintaining relationships with convention, visitors bureau and tourism authorities.

Assist SDOS to manage, motivate and lead the sales managers to achieve their goals and direct the sales efforts for the Hotel.

Month-end reporting for room revenue and sales actions.

Assist to ensure the department’s operating expenses are well managed and aligned with budget.

Assist SDOS in achieving business growth and profitability objectives, integration with the hospitality operations departments and development of budgets and business plans.

Maintain communication/relationship with the Worldwide Sales Office network for specific assigned region, as well as other Four Seasons hotels toward achieving pre-determined revenue goal.

Conduct all sales related interaction with the highest level of professionalism.
Qualifications:

Local market knowledge is essential.

Strong knowledge in the leisure/FIT segment is required.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, organizational skills, and team leadership competencies.

Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English language.

Candidates must be able to speak, read, and write Bahasa Malaysia.

Proficient in Microsoft office tools like PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

Able to work flexible hours as per business demands and needs.

Must have the right to work in Malaysia.
