This is a remote opportunity, ideally located in Atlanta, Chicago or New York

We're looking for an Associate Director, Paid Search to join our team. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Paid Search, you will lead the strategy and management of Paid Search accounts. You will provide leadership across the business and partner with other channels to provide an integrated response to marketing goals. You may also be managing a team.

You Will:

  • Develop and author overall team strategy and approach to paid search management, in cooperation with the Director, Paid Search
  • Immerse yourself in the client's business by gaining an understanding of their goals, the external economic landscape, and their industry. You will also familiarize yourself with their business model, performance metrics, and what success is for them.
  • Collaborate with our teams (Account Management, Analytics, Client Services) manage client relationships as related to paid search strategy, team and performance
  • Ensure best practice and progress in all paid search activities; ensure knowledge sharing across teams.
  • Develop direct reports and be accountable for complete team development
  • Be the point of escalation, resolving problems in a client-centric environment.
  • Accountable for achievement of Goals and deadlines across 6 client accounts
  • Partner with other channels and client programs to share and learn strategies internally to ensure the ideas/new strategies are always being thought about
  • Ensure vendor management and communication, amongst team and client
  • Partner with client services and analytics teams for annual and monthly budget forecasting and grows account profitability
  • Contribute to new business development
  • Willing to provide tactical/operational help amongst the Media team

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Paid Search, specifically in a digital agency
  • 2+ years of experience developing and mentoring a team
  • Experience with Paid Search, market development and trends
  • Experience with how Paid Search / SEM integrates with Display Media, Paid Social, SEO, Affiliate, Feeds, Mobile, Social and Attribution
  • Experience with Structured Data/Data Feeds as they apply to Google & Bing Shopping Ads a.k.a. PLAs is advantageous
  • Experience delivering strategic presentations statistical findings and data insights in a compelling, convincing fashion to senior audiences
  • Experience analyzing complex issues and developing realistic plans, programs and recommendations to solve client challenges
  • Examples of driving growth for clients through performance media
  • Attitude musts: growth oriented, collaborative, committed to excellence
  • Exceptional Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets)
  • Power user for SA360, Google & Microsoft Ads
  • Experience working on integrated media team for enterprise account
  • Experience using bulk sheets

Additional Information:

The annual salary range for this position is $78,000 - $126,500. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
