We are looking for an Associate Director of GTM Strategy & Operations to drive global expansion, go-to-market strategy and company-wide strategic priorities.
In this position, you’ll work closely with direct and cross-functional team members to promote global growth goals and execute GTM initiatives. You’ll have the opportunity to build and manage a team and contribute to the success of Squarespace’s international growth strategy.
You will report to the Director of GTM Strategy & Operations and work hybrid from our New York City headquarters.

- Conduct in-depth analysis of key business drivers to track progress toward global growth goals and recommend strategies based on data & insights to enhance priority market performance.
- Lead and manage a portfolio of high-impact, cross-functional GTM initiatives in collaboration with Marketing, Product, and Commercial teams to accelerate priority market growth.
- Evaluate and communicate the progress of strategic initiatives to key stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment across teams.
- Partner with Finance, Product, Marketing & Commercial teams to develop robust annual plans and set measurable targets for priority markets.
- Manage, mentor, and grow a small team of GTM Strategy & Operations professionals, fostering a high-performance & business impact culture.
Who We’re Looking For
- 12-15 years of experience in Strategy & Operations roles within growth-focused technology or digital businesses, including 5+ years managing and developing teams.
- Proven track record of monitoring and optimizing global business performance metrics.
- Strong expertise in managing strategic initiatives & projects within complex organizations to drive global growth.
- Extensive experience leading annual planning cycles, aligning Marketing, Product, and Commercial teams on goals.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage market, customer, and competitor insights to inform go-to-market strategies.
- This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a passion for scaling global businesses and driving impact through cross-functional collaboration.

Cash Compensation Range: $180,000 - $250,000 USD
The base salary for this position will vary based on job-related criteria including relevant skills, experience, and location, among other factors.
In addition to the cash compensation above (which includes base salary and, where applicable for eligible roles, may include on-target commissions or overtime pay), Squarespace employees are eligible to be granted an option to purchase our common stock.
