Overview
The Software area is responsible for the development of computer programming systems and applications including the design, coding, testing and deployment of products and solutions to meet firm obligations.
Responsibilities
The Associate Developer will assist the TNS Financial Markets development team in the development and support of new and existing Software as a Service offerings for financial market data administration and commercial management.
Key Responsibilities include:

Assist in the development, maintenance and enhancement of tools for the administration and commercial management of market data

Collaborate with senior developers to maintain and improve existing products

Contribute to the design and development of new applications, ensuring they meet business requirements- and performance goals

Write clean, efficient and well documented code that adheres to best practices and company standards

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects in a timely manner

Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement efforts

Work with databases and web-deployed software to ensure optimal functionality and performance

For this role, we anticipate paying $65,000- $70,000 annually. Any compensation range provided for a role is an estimate determined by available market data. The actual amount may be higher or lower than the range provided considering each candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location. Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Java programming
- Familiarity with Linux-based development environments
- Knowledge of JavaScript and front-end development
- Experience with the Spring framework
- Basic understanding of Postgres databases
- Exposure to web-deployed software and web technologies
