ABOUT THE JOB

Gunzilla Games is looking for an Associate Community Manager for Off The Grid (OTG), an all-new, AAA Extraction Battle Royale shooter,, available as Early Access on PlayStation®5, Xbox® Series X|S and PC now, with our blockchain platform GUNZ. 

Reporting directly to our Social Media & Community Managers, you will facilitate communication between communities and the dev team, have a hands-on role in creating engaging content, monitor player feedback, and ensure player satisfaction with our games.

This role is to cover the European region to ensure we have 24/7 coverage of our Social Media and Community channels.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Moderate Off The Grid social platforms, collaborating closely with volunteer moderators. 
• Assist in identifying, training, and overseeing volunteer moderators to ensure adherence to moderation guidelines. Work with Community Managers and the rest of the team to refine moderation guidelines and resources as needed. 
• Actively engage with the Off The Grid community. Drive conversation, identify opportunities for community development that are in line with our community goals and values. 
• Monitor and report on community feedback, sentiment, and opportunities for engagement to the Community Managers. 
• Brainstorm and propose community event projects to the Community Managers. 
• Assist in the organization of community initiatives in and out of the game. 

REQUIREMENTS 

• 1+ year of experience in community and/or social media related roles within the games industry – familiarity with: Discord, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok. 
• Knowledge about ongoing social media trends and in-tune with today’s online zeitgeist.
• An avid gamer, knowledgeable with online gaming community culture. 
• Self-motivated, strong work ethic, and able to work independently. 
• Excellent verbal and written English skills, with the ability to adapt communication and tonality for various audiences. 

PLUSES

• Affinity with web3 topics, capable of conducting technical conversations. 
• Comfortable with content creation or livestreaming, with the ability to conduct on-camera work if necessary. 
• Fluency in another language such as German, French, or Spanish; Written and spoken.
