We’re looking for an experienced Associate Counsel to join our Procurement and Commercial Legal team. You will primarily support the Procurement team but will also work with our Sales and Channel teams as needed. Reporting to our Senior Counsel, Procurement and Commercial, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating inbound and outbound vendor agreements, such as SaaS and software agreements (including the use of AI/ML), hardware, data center, cloud services, security addenda, and DPAs
  • Negotiating NDAs with prospective customers and partners
  • Managing legal dashboards for vendor agreements and vendor-related projects
  • Providing legal advice and guidance to Zscaler’s procurement team and other internal clients
  • Updating templates and playbooks as needed

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

  • Law degree from an accredited U.S. law school and an active admission to a State Bar
  • 3+ years of experience drafting and negotiating vendor agreements
  • Knowledge and experience with technology and SaaS companies
  • Knowledge of data privacy and security issues in the technology space (CCPA, GDPR, etc.) and experience drafting and negotiating data privacy and data security terms

Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.

Base Pay Range

$115,500$165,000 USD
