Roles and Responsibilities
You shall be primarily responsible for delivering Top line and Bottom line of the Inventory Model for a Category. You will play a critical role in laying out a multi-year strategy for the evolution and growth of the business, as well as lead execution of high impact, cross-functional projects.
Key Responsibilities
Key Accounts Management -
Business development by managing key accounts
Monitor & Manage Key Business
Metrics: Net Revenue, Margins, Inventory Health, Revenue per Segment,
Marketing/Other Vendor supports, Customer acquisition/ retention,
Conversion, Segment/ Booking Volumes
Relationship building with Brands/Vendors:
Provide critical inputs to the Brands/Vendors on what is working and what is not to grow the business
Category Understanding: Monitor trends in industry, consumer behaviour and have a deep understanding of consumer needs
Cross-Functional Ownership: Role entails close working with various internal teams across Fulfillment, Warehouse teams, Planning, technology, demand generation, legal , Finance controllers, Marketing and many other functional teams. The role will be to manage relationships and take accountability of the end to end delivery of tasks to lead to revenue, traffic growth, conversion and additional revenue for allocated category.
Pricing and Promotions: Ideate sales promotions with marketing teams, manage website pricing through bench-marking and ensuring the profitability targets are not compromised simultaneously. Reporting: Performance reporting to internal and external stakeholders
Desired Candidate
Prior Category/Sales/Key account management & business development experience ( ecommerce preferable)
Approximately 4-5 years’ experience
Excellent understanding of market and consumer trends, Highly analytical.
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
Self-starter with excellent communication, leadership, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills
Ability to communicate effectively with different functional teams and levels to lead the achievement of the objective demonstrated strong performance in prior roles with outstanding execution and problem-solving skills
Ability to build strong business relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
