About the Role


As an Associate - Branding at Meesho, you'll play a crucial role in building a beloved, trusted brand that resonates across diverse consumer segments in India. You’ll help to execute Meesho’s brand campaigns, working closely with internal teams and external partners to create impactful content, lead cross-functional initiatives, and engage directly with consumers. This is a great opportunity to manage social media content and influencer partnerships for Meesho’s Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, and other channels. This role also assists the team in executing 360 surround initiatives during tentpole events and key brand campaigns.

What you will do

  • Dive deep into Meesho's historical data, user insights, and market research to uncover growth opportunities that increase brand awareness, consideration, and user preference.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute campaigns, ensuring a balanced mix of on-app and off-app communications.
  • Assist executing cross-functional projects across analytics, growth, design, media, social, product, and external partners.
  • Assist in the execution of social media campaigns across various platforms including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Snapchat.
  • Monitor and analyze social media metrics to track the success of social media campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with social media trends and developments to help improve our social media strategy.

What you will need

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in Branding, social media marketing, with a proven track record of success in developing and executing effective Brand campaigns.
  • Proficiency with social media management tools, strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret social media metrics and make data-driven decisions.
  • A growth mindset and a strong sense of ownership.
  • Creative Strategy and Appreciation: Ability to write clear and actionable creative briefs and evaluate the output of the creative development process based on the brief.
  • Understanding Content Consumed in Bharat: Ability to appreciate and identify with the content consumed among customers of tier 2 and 3+ towns.
  • Planning & Execution Skills: Ability to plan for multiple parallel streams of work and ensure error-free, on-time execution. Strong stakeholder management skills to keep both internal and external stakeholders on the same page.
