Job Description:
JOB OVERVIEW Under general direction, formulate/define system scope and objectives for key business systems through multiple releases. Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems. Develop prototypes and prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Analyze and revise existing system logic difficulties and documentation, as necessary. Lead development, debugging and testing of client/server and web applications, including but not limited to graphical user interface development SOA Service development, as well as program maintenance when necessary. Work at the highest technical level through all phases of Wheels' Application Development methodology. Develop and mentor Tech Leads across development teams. Participate with Enterprise Architecture on technology. Stay informed on SDLC best practices and actively drive process improvements and adoption across the development teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Gain a deep understanding of the business capabilities, and objectives for the business area supported.
- Implement technology capabilities and solutions that support and enable the business strategy, processes and objectives for the business area supported.
- Ensure a cross-functional view and roadmap to maximize the business value of technology investments for the business area supported.
- Lead development and communication of end-to-end vision for technical solutions that may be implemented across multiple phases.
- Champion and gain buy-in from the Tech Leads and development teams for strategic technology direction and standards.
- Coordinate with infrastructure regarding structure, implementation and monitoring of solutions across environments.
- Oversee and own technical debt for assigned projects and determine corrective action before project closure.
- Other duties as assigned.
LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES
- Successful business and technology leadership experience with an organization known for delivering world-class technology services. 5+ years of leading a development team or providing enterprise designs for project delivery or in a Solution Architecture role.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Demonstrated ability to design enterprise systems.
- 5+ years of leading a development team or providing enterprise designs for project delivery or in a Solution Architecture role.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with the design and development of highly scalable systems
- Deep understanding of software development methodologies, with hands-on experience leading projects utilizing one or more Agile approaches
- Broad technology experience, including familiarity with API, microservices, cloud data architecture, web & mobile development and event-driven architectures.
- Understanding of DevOps and CI/CD
- Understand the Security requirements and standards and contemporary trends in Security risks as well as technologies.
- Understanding of software design for Cloud
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Math, Physics, or another technical field
- Industry experience within Fleet services is highly desirable. Successful business and technology leadership experience with an organization known for delivering world-class technology services.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS, PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENTWork Environment: This position is in Alpharetta, GA or Des Plaines, IL and operates in a professional office environment or hybrid.
Position Type/Standard Schedule: This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday.
Travel: Some Travel may be required
Physical Demands: Speak, hear, and see, and to use hand and fingers for computer keyboard and phone. Sit or stand for extended periods of time. Reach above head to pull paper attachments.

Pay Range:
$113,400-$158,800
The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is eligible to participate in the annual incentive plan which is based on company performance and individual performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience, education, certifications, skill level and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed here.
