Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest and most trusted environmental services firms in North America, is looking for a dynamic and motivated Associate Account Manager to join our growing Account Management team. This highly driven individual will be responsible for supporting Account Managers in overseeing a book of business, handling inbound leads, and collaborating with clients to cross-sell, upsell, and schedule routine services

This position reports to the Regional Director of Account Management and is based in Somerville, MA. The role is onsite and includes hands-on training to ensure success. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Manage $400,000 /month or less book of current small to mid-size accounts
  • Collaborate with Account Managers to create and pursue sales opportunities from inbound leads.
  • Develop business revenues from current customers and potential new customers by doing the following:
    • Lead and coordinate routine services between customer and TEI
    • Cross-sell new, repeat, and reoccurring services to your assigned customer base
    • Assist your customers with key projects to help them stay in compliance
    • Generate new business leads through referrals and networking efforts
  • Serve as a consultative liaison between the customer and the company, addressing issues and aligning the customer's needs with our services
  • Build long-lasting relationships with your customers to retain their business
  • Provide WOW-Level Customer Service to our new and existing clients
  • Coordinate job scope and proposal creation for new business
  • Creation of purchase orders to ensure timely payment of invoices
  • Collection of outstanding invoices
  • Network within your customer’s organization to build relationships and trust
  • Support Service Recovery efforts by identifying issues, implementing solutions, and developing preventative measures.
  • Assist with Employee Lead follow up and tracking
  • Learn and apply the Sandler sales methodology effectively
  • Stay updated with industry trends, market changes, competitors, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • This position requires 3 months of hands-on technical field training, during this time you will frequently handles hazardous chemicals and biological waste and be responsible for putting on and taking off personal protective equipment. This role is considered safety-sensitive during the field training component.

Basic Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude, strong passion for sales, and a high level of motivation
  • Must be a team player with a commitment to succeed
  • Essential qualities include a strong focus on goals, creativity, organization, and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to attend client outings as needed
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship 
  • Must have a reliable form of transportation 
  • Valid US driver's license
  • Must be willing to consent to a Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen (inclusive of THC)
  • Must be able to lift 60 pounds on a regular basis

Preferred Requirements: 

  • 1-2+ years of prior sales experience preferred 
  • Prior experience in the environmental industry or a related field
  • An understanding of Facilities Management
  • Experience working as a Supervisor, Project Manager, or selling to healthcare, higher education, life sciences, or industrial clients
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and industry specific software
