Primary Duties
-
Customer assistance throughout the insurance policy lifecycle
-
Conduct detailed review of insurance documents upon receiving submissions
-
Speak with insureds, agents and motor carriers in regards to accounts, policy verification and coverage deficiencies
-
Document information, follow up if necessary, and answer questions/concerns timely for clients

Provide detailed communications & summary of deficiencies to customers/agents
-
Provide administrative and transactional support to department Account Managers
-
Learn and conduct basic claim procedures such as claim verification, distribution & escalations.

Service claim deductible calls and other billing issues and discrepancies
-
Meet quality assurance requirements and other key performance metrics
-
Attend and participate in weekly team meetings
-
Provide primary backup support to Reception duties including in/outbound calls, mail, etc.
Job Requirements:
-
Bilingual: Fluent and proficient in English and Spanish required
-
Knowledgeable in Microsoft office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Must be able to have good judgement to make informative decisions when considering coverage exceptions/overrides, etc.

Strong oral & written communication skills
-
Adhere to employee manual including confidentiality requirements

Comply with Carrier partner(s) service practices, program guidelines & procedures

To assure that PHP brands are presented in the utmost professional manner when working with insurers, agents, customers, vendors and the community.

Provide additional support to Department Manager on special tasks/projects as needed

To process all Urgent tasks within two hours of receipt, by the end of business at the very least

Coordinate/manage relationships with our vendors to ensure all clients’ requirements and expectations are exceeded

To Treat all employees with respect and courtesy in all business and personal matters
Preferable Skills

Desire to obtain a Property & Casualty Insurance License within 9 months of employment
Desired Schedule (Full Time, In Napa Office)

Disclosure required under applicable state or municipality regulations: The expected salary range for this position is $24.50 - 26.50/hour, based on a 40 hour work week. This compensation will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include health/dental/vision/life/disability insurance, FSA, HSA and 401(k) accounts, paid-time-off benefits, and eligible bonuses, equity and commissions for some positions.
