Main purpose of the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Transfer Pricing Specialist to support MUFG’s Transfer Pricing end-to-end processes in the EMEA region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Transfer Pricing policy and compliance processes, from working experience in Advisory/Consulting and/or in-house.

Key responsibilities

  • Monitoring and reporting of intra-group arrangements.
    • Oversee the repository and tracking of new and existing intra-group arrangements
    • Support in annual fact gathering meetings with business stakeholders to assess the validity and accuracy of intra-group arrangements
    • Run process to gather data from relevant data sources and collaborating with internal stakeholders
    • Prepare reports and dashboards on intra-group arrangements for senior management
  • Documentation and compliance:
    • Support the development and implementation of the EMEA region Transfer Pricing documentation delivery model
    • Maintain project plan and tracker of documentation and benchmarking update lifecycle
    • Preparation and maintenance of Transfer Pricing documentation, including engaging business stakeholders for functional analysis interviews and factual review
    • Interact with external Transfer Pricing advisors supporting with Local File preparation, benchmarking, and other Transfer Pricing compliance requirements
  • Policy review and advisory:
    • Support in the review of Transfer Pricing implications of new intra-group arrangements and business organisational changes
    • Educating and providing guidance to internal stakeholders on MUFG Transfer Pricing policies and governance procedures
    • Supporting the analysis and filing of Group Advanced Pricing Agreements (APAs)
    • Assist in managing Transfer Pricing audits and responding to inquiries from Tax Authorities
    • Monitor changes in OECD and EMEA Transfer Pricing regulations and assess their impact on the organisation
