Job Description:

Reporting to the Assistant Vice President, Strategic Finance, this role is responsible for performing analysis on Hong Kong Life and Health (L&H) financial drivers on expense management and KPI reporting, drive the Strategic and Operating Plan, and assist in providing business insights to help our L&H leaders to achieve our strategic objectives.
Responsibilities

Provide quality management reports to support business decision and perform analysis on financial performance, including expenses, sales, VNB and other KPI metrics

Provide analytical support to assist management team on monitoring business performance, including the participation in month end close and presentation in monthly net income meeting

Manage expense budget and forecast planning process and provide analysis on variance against budget and target & actual

Drive the Operating Plan and Strategic Plan processes and provide analytical support, including KPI and expenses data collection and consolidation.

Build good communication with different stakeholders to ensure consistency on assumptions

Providing coach less experienced staff in delivering BAU tasks

Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and able to meet tight deadlines within a fast-paced environment

Participate in other ad-hoc and finance related projects

Qualifications

Degree in Finance or Accounting or any related disciplines

Qualified accountant (CPA) or equivalent

At least 5-6 years of working experience in finance function.

Financial planning/management reporting experience in Insurance industry or expenses management is an added advantage

Proficient in MS Office applications and solid knowledge in database management & PowerPoint preparation
-
Experience in Tableau is an added advantage
