Job Description

  • To lead the overall quality assurance/control functions by effective planning, directing, controlling and following through product quality performance in the plant (including flour silo).
  • To ensure quality objectives and product performance are met through constant monitoring and improvement of internal and external requirements.

  • To ensure compliance of HACCP, Food Act and Regulations and best laboratory practices to meet stringent quality expectation by customers and regulatory bodies.

  • To continuously review and monitor the quality assurance/control processes to find continuous improvements on procedures, methods, effectiveness and resource utilization.

  • To initiate trouble shooting to resolve problems arising from quality assurance/control issues.

  • To continuously train and upgrade the skill and knowledge of subordinates, and motivate subordinates to enable them to work together effectively and productively.

  • To respond to customer complaints and external audits in order to ensure complaints and queries are attended to in specified timeframe.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Science degree in Chemistry or related Science technical field.
  • 5 years experience in quality management or related.
