About your team
Fidelity Global Procurement comprises approximately 65 employees based across India, UK, Continental Europe, and Asia Pacific. The team manages approximately $700m of spend split between technology and non-technology categories. Currently the team is undertaking a global transformation programme to deliver an improved Procurement user experience, simpler and more efficient Procurement processes, consistent and accurate Procurement related data. The transformation will drive significant changes to ways of working within and out of Procurement and will implement multiple new technology platforms.
About your role
The Project Manager– Procurement Services will be responsible for driving key projects and running quality assurance program within the Procurement Operations function. The Procurement operations team provides PR to PO process, Supplier Onboarding, Tactical Buying and Helpdesk Services for Fidelity Global Procurement.
The role will require an understanding of overall procurement operations function and designing processes and procedures for deploying new applications, testing new applications and carrying our periodic quality assurance activities. The overall responsibilities being:
- Manage key Change Management opportunities in procurement operations space
- Identify project problems and obtain solutions, such as allocation of resources, or tool enhancement
- Lead Technology refresh, Data Cleansing and enhancement initiatives
- Effectively communicate project expectations with all stakeholders in a timely manner
- Be accountable for end-to-end project lifecycle management
- Monitor project progress, ensure timely and effective communication with all stakeholders
- Deliver regular reporting on project progress, risks, issues, and mitigation strategies
- Provide regular updates to team, management on work performed, plans, budget, and overall status
- Use appropriate tools and techniques to monitor the progress of the project and changes to the scope and schedule.
- Enhances operational performance and drives quality by implementing Quality Assurance plan and Standards
- Fosters a culture of innovation and a mindset for continuous improvement in the team
- Support management decisions in relation to work scope and resource arrangements
- Provide valuable support to key stakeholders and manage good relationship with them
About You
- MBA/BBA Graduate
- 8+ years’ experience in the domain of P2P, Supplier Administration, Due Diligence Investigation and Risk Control & Governance
- Experience in Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) tools and Oracle CFP technical support is a plus
- Should have an eye for details and go into the depth of issues where needed
- Should be able to produce high quality powerpoints and storyboarding
- Should have exposure to working in a global environment with an ability to work with people across the globe in different time zones and with different cultures
