The Opportunity:
Supervise customer support team. Responsible for resolving basic to complex customer support issues for customers. Coordinates and leads daily team activities to meet departmental goals and implement processes regarding quality, productivity, and issue resolution. Monitor team performance to achieve maximum client satisfaction levels. Resolve escalated issues and establish department procedures. Train and mentor team members. May spend a portion of time performing the work of those they supervise. Assist with management decisions and activities. May provide oversight to lower-level supervisor(s).

This role will be a full-time position based out of ABC – Mauritius. The Assistant Manager Operations role will be responsible for driving results and productivity of the operations support team through effective management and communication. In this position, the individual will work closely with leadership to help communicate strategy and deliver stellar results that drive operational efficiencies. This role will plan and manage the daily operations of team members to execute defined tasks and processes. The individual in the role must be detailed oriented with strong management, communication, and project leadership skills.
What we’re looking for
- Education: Any bachelor’s or master’s degree
- 8+ years of relevant work and Management Experience
- Proficiency in German Language preferred
- Leadership skills to manage associates and other parties in a matrixed environment
- A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has ability to manage and prioritize concurrent work assignments.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to manage relationships and to deal with conflicts in a professional and objective manner.
- Ability to learn new tools and processes quickly and effectively.

- Coach, counsel, and develop operational support associates to achieve departmental enterprise goals and promote operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with the management to identify and arrange needed associate on-boarding training and development.
- Lead cross-functional teams to drive projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders in a matrix environment to achieve business objectives.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination across different functions to ensure seamless execution of tasks and projects.
- Manage associate workload dashboard and key metrics to support identified tasks.
- Partner with leadership to identify and build knowledge for additional required
- Balance short term and long term needs to ensure the architecture can scale and evolve accordingly.
- Leverages business tools and machine learning technologies to drive innovative solutions for business needs.
- Scale and expand our analytics offerings, skills, and technologies.
- Lead and inspire a team of operational support associates, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback to team members to ensure continuous improvement and development.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and address any concerns or challenges.
- Recognize and reward high performance, motivating team members to achieve them
- Resolve conflicts and handle disciplinary actions in a fair and consistent manner.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve team morale and engagement.
